Sketching, drawing & Painting in the countryside which stimulated the Barbizon School of painters (the founders of open-air painting who inspired the Impressionists). Visiting Fonta inebleau, Provins, Paris, museums and galleries, sampling food and wine and sightseeing.

The Hotel Le Plat d'Etain is of a good traditional standard and you will be welcomed by Mr & Mrs Legrand. The hotel is located at Jouarre in the Siene et Marne region east of Paris which is renowned for its fertile countryside and known as 'The Garden of Paris'. All rooms in the Hotel have private facilities, traditional breakfasts are included together with superb evening meals with wine.
